We are a team of professionals (mostly from finance and consultancy backgrounds), with specific expertise in designing and implementing innovative financial products and experience in working with social & environmental sectors.

Numbers4Good was founded in 2009 by Bertrand Beghin, a financial specialist with over 10 years experience in developing innovative financial structures for strategic shareholders and corporate clients of Deutsche Bank.
The team works together as a group of professionals connected by our mutual interest in creating sustainable structures for the funding of sustainable businesses.
We are individuals who have worked in leading financial or consulting organisations. When required we form client teams to work on specific projects or on new product development. To introduce you to a few people of the team:

Bertrand Beghin,
Founder and director
Bertrand is a financial specialist interested in using his skills to support social and environmental projects in the developing world. He has the proven ability to analyse complex financial issues and identify ways to solve them while coordinating the implementation of projects and communicate & liaise effectively with all key participants, partners & stakeholders; to ensure a successful outcome for parties involved. Previously, Bertrand was a Director at Deutsche Bank in London working in the Strategic Equity Transactions Group for 10 years. He was part of a team that structures equity related transactions for the bank's corporate, private & strategic European clients, specialising in monetization strategies, equity financing, employee incentives, M&A derivatives, share buy-backs and tax/accounting related structured transactions. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Bertrand worked as an IT business analyst for Lehman Brothers where he was hired via the 1st IT graduate programme in the summer of 1995. Bertrand originates from Belgium from a French father and Dutch mother. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and a M.Sc. in Management Science and Operational Research. Bertrand love the outdoors and is a keen yogi, windsurfer, sailor, skier, snowboarder and cyclist. In 2004, he took a 6 months sabbatical to travel overland along the Silk Route from the Caspian Sea to Beijing.

Fraser Durham,
Anahat Energy (Associate)After receiving a degree in Economics and Mathematics from Bristol University, Fraser spent ten years advising hedge funds in derivative and alternative asset global investments, latterly at Deutsche Bank in London. He left in 2004, travelling through Mongolia, China, Tibet, Nepal & India, where he experienced issues related to sustainability. On returning in 2006 he joined Carbon Sense as director of technical communications, working with clients on the financial implications of climate change. In 2009, Fraser left Carbon Sense to setup Anahat Energy. He is currently halfway through an MSc in Renewable Energy and the Built Environment at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales where he is currently on route to achieve a distinction.
